Tour Description
Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.
Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. You’ll hardly fail to see a roaming elephant around due to the large population of elephants in the park! It’s just one of many reasons the park is the second most popular in Kenya after Masai Mara.
Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Tour Itinerary
DAY 1:
NAIROBI-LAKE NAKURU
08h00: Depart Nairobi and drive to Lake Nakuru making a stop at the Escarpment viewing point.
Drive via the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley floor passing Naivasha town to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Check-in for lunch.
After a brief rest, head for afternoon game drive in the park and around the alkaline lake till sunset.
Lake Nakuru, is a shallow alkaline lake in Kenya’s Rift Valley and some 62 km2 in extent. The road from Nairobi to Nakuru passes down the Kikuyu escarpment with fine views of the Kedong Valley and Mounts Suswa and Longonot. The landscape is picturesque, areas of sedge, marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrop. In late 80’s the park also became Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and is today home to both the White and Black Rhinos. Lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks are equally at home in this unique park.

DAY 2:
LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI ( 3H + 5H)
After breakfast, check out with morning game drive and proceed to Nairobi.
Lunch stop at the Carnivore restaurant
And later in the afternoon drive via Emali to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is renown for its elephant populations and large herds, including some impressively tusked bulls which are drawn to a series of large, lush swamplands. This area is home to many Maasai communities, centered around the park. It is 400 square kms, with its southern boundary along the Tanzanian border. Here you may have the opportunity to observe herds of wildebeest, zebra and impala graze on the open plains. There are areas of acacia forest that make for good birding and are home to many small mammals. Cheetahs are also often sighted in the park.

DAY 3:
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Full day spent in the Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives in search of wildlife. Marvel at the beautiful sceneries and amazing wild. Second in popularity after the legendary Masai Mara.
Amboseli National Park not only offer great game viewing but it’s also the place to go for the best views of iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight stay

DAY 4:
DAY 5:
AMBOSELI-TSAVO WEST (2H30)
After breakfast, enjoy morning game drive in the Park and later morning proceed for Tsavo West National Park arriving for lunch at your lodge.
Evening proceed for game drive till sunset.
The twin National Parks of Tsavo East and West together form one of Africa’s largest wilderness reserves. Tsavo as a whole consists of 10 million acres of pure wilderness, incorporating savannah, ranges and hills, acacia and montane forest, and an extensive river system. This single National Park is larger than the island of Jamaica. The sheer scale of Tsavo gives the visitor a chance to really get away from it all, and to explore the wild in total solitude. On safari here you will see large herds of Elephant, their hides often a luminous red with dust, as well as Lion, Buffalo, Eland, Giraffe Impala, Kudu, dik dik, leopard and possibly Rhinoceros.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out with game drive and drive to Voi.
Arrive and proceed to Voi Wildlife lodge for lunch.
Continue to Mombasa and dropped off at your hotel
